Oakland Press Story – Case Taken To Federal Court After he was declared dead, Titus’ mother, LaShauna Lowry, obtained a temporary emergency restraining order from Oakland County Circuit Judge Hala Jarbou, requiring Beaumont to continue Titus’ medical care. Jarbou subsequently dismissed the case — ruling that it was an issue for Probate Court to decide — which led to Lowry’s attorney, Jim Rasor taking it to federal court.
